GTIXT provides institutional benchmarking data and analysis for informational purposes only. GTIXT is NOT providing investment advice, financial recommendations, or trading guidance.

Any decisions based on GTIXT data are the sole responsibility of the user. We strongly recommend consulting with qualified financial advisors before making investment decisions.

Data Quality & Limitations

GTIXT methodology is based on publicly available information. We acknowledge inherent limitations:

  • Confidence Levels: HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW ratings reflect our assessment of data completeness, not absolute certainty. See our Methodology page for details.
  • Currency: Snapshots reflect information as of the snapshot date. Firms may have updated practices or status changes afterward.
  • Data Sources: Relies on public regulatory filings, news, and disclosed information. Non-public risks are outside our scope.
  • No Audit Function: GTIXT does not conduct independent audits or verify claims. We assess based on disclosed information.

Not a Credit Rating

GTIXT integrity scores are NOT credit ratings, debt ratings, or financial strength ratings. They are institutional governance and operational integrity assessments. Do not use GTIXT scores as substitutes for formal credit analysis.

Past Performance ≠ Future Results

Historical GTIXT scores do not predict future firm behavior or performance. Factors change rapidly in institutional finance. Use historical trends with caution.

Third-Party Reliance

GTIXT does not control content published by regulators, firms, or news outlets that we reference. We are not responsible for accuracy of third-party statements or changing regulatory information.

No Relationship with Firms

GTIXT is an independent entity with no financial relationships with proprietary trading firms, brokers, or clearing firms whose data we publish. Our governance model ensures this independence.

However, firms may request data corrections if they believe information is factually inaccurate or outdated. See our Methodology page for our correction process.

Trading & Market Risks

Proprietary trading is inherently risky. A high GTIXT score does not guarantee firm stability, profitability, or safety of capital. Firms with excellent governance still face market, operational, and regulatory risks.

Regulatory Compliance

GTIXT is not a regulatory body and does not enforce compliance. Regulatory compliance is the responsibility of firms and their regulators (SEC, FINRA, FCA, etc.). GTIXT scores supplement but do not replace formal regulatory oversight.

Limitation of Liability

GTIXT shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made based on GTIXT data or scores
  • Financial losses, trading losses, or opportunity costs
  • Inaccuracies, delays, or omissions in data
  • Unauthorized use of API credentials or data
  • Third-party claims related to GTIXT data use

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTIXT's liability is limited to the fees paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 for free tier users).

Use at Your Own Risk

GTIXT data is provided "as is" without warranties. Users are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and suitability of GTIXT information for their purposes.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTIXT, its founders, employees, and advisors from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of GTIXT data, including claims by third parties.

Jurisdictional Notice

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of New York State. Users in other jurisdictions should be aware that GTIXT may not comply with all local regulations. Use of GTIXT outside the United States is at the user's own risk and responsibility.
