Terms of Service

Legal terms governing use of GTIXT services and data.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GTIXT (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use GTIXT.

2. Service Description

GTIXT provides institutional benchmarking data for proprietary trading firms. The Service includes:

  • Quarterly snapshots of firm integrity scores
  • REST API access to historical rankings and data
  • Documentation and support for subscribers

All data is based on publicly available information and GTIXT methodology. We do not guarantee data completeness or accuracy beyond our stated confidence levels.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent API rate limits
  • Maintain confidentiality of your API keys
  • Not impersonate or misrepresent your identity
  • Not upload viruses or malicious code
  • Not use the Service to manipulate markets or spread disinformation

4. Intellectual Property

GTIXT's methodology, scoring algorithms, and proprietary analysis are protected intellectual property. You may:

  • Use data retrieved via API for internal business purposes
  • Reference GTIXT scores in reports (with attribution)

You may not:

  • Republish GTIXT data without written permission
  • Create competing products based on GTIXT methodology
  • Sell GTIXT data to third parties

5. Service Availability & Disclaimers

GTIXT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service availability
  • Complete data accuracy (see confidence levels)
  • Suitability for any particular purpose

Scheduled maintenance windows (typically monthly) may cause temporary service interruptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTIXT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to trading losses or business interruptions.

Our total liability for direct damages is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. API Rate Limits & Usage Policies

Rate limits vary by subscription tier. Exceeding limits may result in:

  • Temporary throttling of requests (HTTP 429)
  • Suspension of API access (if repeated violations)
  • Permanent account termination (for abuse)

Commercial use requires appropriate subscription tier. Using free API keys for production systems is prohibited.

8. Payment & Refunds

Paid subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

9. Termination

GTIXT may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse of the Service
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Legal obligations

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in New York County.
